Apply for Creative Destruction Lab 2025/26 Cohort
Calling all massively scalable, early-stage, science- and technology-based companies.
I’m proud to serve as a mentor for the Space Stream at Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) since 2024. At Beyond Earth Ventures, we’re equally proud to be investors in two CDL alumni, as well as in Xona Space Systems and Lunar Outpost — with several more currently under consideration.
CDL has one of the most impressive mentor communities and most thoughtfully designed programs I’ve encountered in my career. I’d love to invite you to consider joining the 2025–2026 cohort.
Creative Destruction Lab (CDL) is one of the leading startup programs globally. It is a nonprofit organization that delivers an objectives-based program for massively scalable, early-stage, science- and technology-based companies.
The program’s objective-setting process enhances the performance of technical founders who learn from the insights of experienced entrepreneurs, increasing their probability of success. CDL operates 14 sites globally with 24 innovation streams.
Since 2012, over 4,500 companies have participated in the CDL program, of which only a subsect successfully graduate the 9-month program and are listed on the website. The successful commercialization of cutting-edge science achieved through the program has led to creation of over CAD $54.9 billion in equity value.
Since 2018 they have operated their dedicated Space Stream, which has four locations, CDL-Toronto, CDL-Paris, CDL-Texas, and CDL-Milan, working to support one global cohort of SpaceTech startups each year.
Creative Destruction Lab has just announced the graduating companies from its 7th cohort.
Other notable spacetech graduates of the CDL program include:
Kepler Communications (CDL 2015/16) - Offering on-orbit data at lightspeed via a constellation of satellites designed to act as Internet exchange points for space-to-space data relay.
